Message from our Executive Director

Dear readers:

As the 2022-2023 school year winds down, I look back with pride at what we have accomplished. In this newsletter, you will learn how we have supported youth health and wellness in our schools over the last year.

May is National Physical Fitness and Sports Month and May 4 is National Kids Fitness Day — both a cause for great celebration! From our newest fitness centers redesigned professional development trainings', SBSM is working hard to improve the lives of students in Los Angeles. We believe that every day should be kids fitness day, and we are proud to support youth physical activity 365 days a year.

Summer is right around the corner and we have much work to do for the new school year. We have an ambitious year planned, focused on greater teacher engagement and school resource enhancements. Please join me in supporting our mission by making a contribution today. We wish you good health!

Sincerely,

Matt Flesock
