The Division of Dermatology, Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is currently recruiting for a full-time Postdoctoral Scholar to join a laboratory focused on investigative dermatology using a combination of T cell lines and clinically derived samples.

The candidate is expected to have published in peer-reviewed journals in any area of the biomedical sciences and to have less than 6 months of cumulative postdoctoral research experience, including postdoctoral service at other institutions. Areas of research include scRNA-seq analyses of cells and metagenomic analysis of the skin microbiome to define how strain-specific differences influence the immune responses at the site of disease. A Ph.D is required.

The Division of Dermatology in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking applicants for full-time clinician educators in an academic setting across our network of campus and community practices for medical dermatology and pediatric dermatology. Our locations include Ventura, Calabasas, Westwood, Santa Monica, Burbank, Century City, Encino, Redondo Beach, Santa Clarita, Thousand Oaks and Torrance.

Responsibilities include a minimum of 32 hours per week of direct patient care, supervision of trainees and academic contributions. In addition, the position requires participation and creativity in a variety of professional activities including those that involve teaching, research and administration. An M.D. or D.O. is required. The successful candidate must be board certified by the American Board of Dermatology or board eligible to sit for the exam and have an excellent record of clinical activity in medical dermatology. The candidate must have graduated from an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency.
