The UCLA Health identity program uses a multitier 'logo' system to identify all entities within the UCLA Health brand. This includes all hospitals, clinics, departments and programs. A logo is composed of the UCLA logo, the solid rectangular panel with the specially styled letters 'UCLA,' and the brand descriptor typography.
The logo for Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA has a different structure than other logos in our identity system in that it is designed with the brand descriptor first and the UCLA logo following. Therefore, the graphic standards for this entity are different from those of other UCLA Health logos.
This new logo for Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA is the only graphic device to be used to identify this hospital. It replaces all older logos.
