Our department offers fellowships in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Laryngology, Rhinology and Skull Base, Neurotology, and Advanced Head and Neck Surgery.

Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

Fellowship Program - UCLA Head and Neck Surgery - Dr. Burke and fellows.

The Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship is a one-year training program, established in 1998 and certified by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. It offers a broad exposure to both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery for graduates of an accredited head and neck residency. Read More >

Laryngology Fellowship

Two fellowship opportunities are available each year in Laryngology.  The UCLA Laryngology Fellowship is a comprehensive program designed to cover the entire breadth of experience in voice, swallowing, and airway disorders. Read More >

Rhinology and Skull Base Fellowship

The one-year Rhinology and Skull Base fellowship will provide advanced subspecialty training in medical management of complex paranasal sinus inflammatory disorders, revision sinus surgery, orbital surgery, cerebrospinal fluid leaks and encephalocele repair, and minimally invasive approaches to the skull base for resection of benign and malignant sinonasal and intracranial neoplasms. Read More >

House Neurotology Fellowship

The neurotology lateral skull base surgery program at House Clinic provides advanced education beyond that afforded in the otolaryngology residency in the diagnosis and management of disorders of the temporal bone, lateral skull base, and related anatomical structures. Surgery of the lateral skull base that involves the mesial aspect of the dura or intradural structure requires the joint effort of a neurotology and neurological surgery team.

Advanced Head and Neck Surgery Fellowship

The Department offers an Advanced Head and Neck Surgery fellowship, under the co-directions of Dr. Elliot Abemayor and Dr. Keith Blackwell. This is a one-year program structured to enhance surgical skills obtained during head and neck residency as well as to teach the necessary elements of being a key member of a multidisciplinary head and neck cancer team.
