Dr. David Hovda's research is dedicated to the understanding of the pathobiology of traumatic brain injury and the recovery of function after brain injury.

Dr. Jeff Chiang is interested in translating recent advances in big data and artificial intelligence to active clinical research, and his work addresses the computational challenges which arise when doing so.

Dr. Feinsinger studies the ethics of invasive neural device research with humans through engagement with participants, patient communities, and clinician-researchers. She also co-directs the UCLA-CDU Dana Center for Neuroscience and Society. 

Dr. Greco is currently pursuing research on sex hormones, brain energy metabolism and concussions. 

Dr. Neil Harris is co-scientific director of the new 7 Tesla magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy facility and his research is focused on recovery of function after traumatic brain injury.

Dr. Le Belle has worked for several years on the etiology of brain overgrowth, abnormal sensory processing, and abnormal behaviors in neurodevelopmental mouse models. Her lab is currently funded to research the shared brain functional circuitry, physiological (heart) responses, and cognitive function in mice and humans with sensory over-responsivity and post-concussion sensory hyper-sensitivity to identify if there are convergent mechanisms between disorders and across species. 

The research of Dr. Mayumi Prins focuses on the pediatric response to traumatic brain injury.

Dr. Robert Prins conducts pre-clinical brain tumor immunotherapy research and Phase I clinical trials for malignant brain tumor patients.
