Cheryl Hoffman, MD, RPVI

Professor of Radiology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and Medical Director for the UCLA Manhattan Beach Imaging and Interventional center. As an Interventional Radiologist, one of Dr. Hoffman's area of expertise is the Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE) procedure. UFE is an outpatient procedure performed on patients with fibroids and adenomyosis. The uterus is always preserved and the entire uterine abnormality is treated. Dr. Hoffman has been performing UFE since its inception in the late 1990's. She is a strong advocate for women and believes women should have their symptoms treated by minimally invasive therapies when possible.

Professor of Radiology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Srinivasa trained at the University of Pennsylvania and has previously been full-time faculty at both the University of Michigan as well as the University of Texas. He is an avid clinical researcher with over 120 publications in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Srinivasa has extensive experience performing uterine artery embolization for women with fibroids.

Jessica Stewart, MD,

Assistant Professor of Radiology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Stewart trained at Duke University Hospital and prior to joining UCLA, she was an Assistant Professor of Interventional Radiology at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Stewart's clinical interests include women's health interventions, such as uterine artery embolization (UAE) for the treatment of uterine fibroids and adenomyosis. Dr. Stewart has interests in clinical and translational research related to minimally invasive image-guided procedures for women's health, and has published on novel methods of improving pain control for women undergoing uterine artery embolization. Dr. Stewart has spoken nationally and internationally on topics related to interventional radiology, and has authored book chapters and over 20 peer-reviewed publications.

Revana Lukman, MD

Dr. Lukman earned a bachelor's degree in Psychobiology from UCLA, and graduated summa cum laude, before completing her medical degree at UCLA. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at the University of California, Irvine, and practiced in Oahu and Maui before joining UCLA. Her clinical interests include general obstetrics and gynecology, including contraceptive care, infertility work-up, normal and high-risk pregnancy, and minimally invasive surgery.

 

Erin Mellano, MD

Assistant Clinical Professor – Voluntary of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Mellano completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UCLA, and during that time she had the opportunity to work with a team of physicians treating complex pelvic floor disorders in Uganda. This inspired her to pursue a fellowship at UCLA in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology). Her primary interests include overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, prolapse, urinary tract and vaginal infections, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, minimally invasive surgery, and menopausal care.

 

Lauren Nathan, MD

Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of the UCLA Pelvic Pain Clinical and Research program. Dr. Rapkin received her medical degree from SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine & Biomed Sciences and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at UCLA. Dr. Rapkin directs the Pelvic Pain Clinic and initiated one of the first multidisciplinary pelvic pain programs offering comprehensive and innovative care and access to current research studies for women suffering from complex disorders.
