Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment

UCLA Health Facilities Department partners with local organizations to donate Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment. Our local FF&E partner claims 60% of donated items are recycled, repurposed, or donated.

Please Note: This process only applies to office furniture

Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) Donation

Submit a Support Services Request

  • Choose the Filter Option: Health System Facilities (HSF)
  • Choose the Service Type: Furniture (General)
  • Describe what furniture needs to be picked up & the location

Facilities will pickup the furniture and triage the item

  • Facilities will determine if the furniture can be repurposed for other UCLA Health locations
  • Furniture that cannot be repurposed will be donated

  • Bookcases
  • Armoires
  • Shelves
  • Tool Units

 

UCLA Health Facilities will repurpose FF&E for reuse in other locations. Those Items UCLA Health Facilities cannot repurpose will be donated to our local partner. Our partner ensures that donated FF&E ends up in the right place. Furniture still in good shape will be donated to charity. Salvageable materials will be sent to a recycling facility, and any material that cannot be recycled will be disposed of in a safe and eco-friendly manner.
