Day of  Mindfulness:
Mind Games - A Mindfulness and Creativity Playshop

with Brian Shiers and Laurie Shiers

What do mindfulness and creativity have in common?

The answer is cognitive flexibility: the ability to observe your thoughts, and the skill to change what and how you think. But while mindfulness is rooted in compassion non-judgment, the creative process can be wrought with self-criticism and doubt. Mindfulness can help us here.

In combining mindfulness practices with games participants will come away with new insights and practical tools to meet life's challenges.

Date: Sunday April 25, 2021
Time: 10am-3pm, PST

Re-Writing the Story of Your Life (3-Week Class)
with Mitra Manesh

In this class we will identify our "story"—the story we tell ourselves, consciously or not, to explain, excuse, and justify the recurring patterns of our lives. We'll identify whose story we’re actually living. We'll summon the authority to author our own story. And we'll begin to write that story, the one we truly wish to live, with compassion and a deeper sense of awareness.

This is an interactive, participatory, experiential class.

Date: Mondays, May 3 - 17, 2021
Time: 6 – 7:30pm,  PST
