Since 2012, the UC WorkStrong Program has provided thousands of UC employees with guidance and support from UC experts in fitness, nutrition and creating a healthy lifestyle.

The UC Workstrong Program at UCLA is part of a UC wide initiative to help injured workers improve their overall health and fitness level and help reduce future work injuries.

What services are offered by the program?

Private sessions with a Personal Fitness Trainer in person or via Zoom. Private Sessions with a Registered Dietitian via Zoom or over the phone.  A 6 month gym membership at UCLA Recreation.

How long is the program?

Most participants take 12-20 weeks to complete their sessions. Each session is approximately 60 minutes.

What is the cost to participate in the program?

There is no cost to the employees to participate.

Can I take time during my work shift to participate?

Participation is outside of work hours, on your own time. We offer flexible scheduling to meet your needs.
